The Printer’s Kiss

Pat’s book, The Printer’s Kiss: The Life and Letters of a Civil War Newspaperman and His Family, was published by Kent State University Press in their Civil War in the North Series.

The story of Pat's great-great grandparents reads like a novel and received many positive reviews. What means the most to Pat, however, is what her ancestors’ lives said about them. Regardless of the news of the day, they believed that things could change for the better.
